My name is Christin King (CK) and I am a designer, MURALIST, maker and creative.

I am a native of Raleigh, NC and I have a huge passion for local North Carolina artists, artisans, makers and shops. Experiencing new things especially in food, travel, music, art and culture are what make my soul thrive. On any given day you'll find me in a coffee shop with watercolors, a sketchbook and my laptop or in my studio attempting to make magic and indulging in way too much caffeine. I am also a collector of coffee mugs (50+) and vinyls both new and old. 

The Story of My Company

I left NC State College of Design ready to embark on my career. However, after not being satisfied with the corporate job market, I started CK & CO (formerly CKCreations) on a whim. I took the God-given talent and learned skills and started taking on any and all design and art projects. I lived off of the motto that “every day is a new day” when it comes to the type of work I get to do. To this day, I still enjoy each aspect of my business and have honed in on my best skills. I enjoy making carefully crafted and thoughtful works tailored specifically to each client's needs.

I specialize in small business branding + social media, full service wedding paper goods and signage and I have a collection of locally-inspired and nostalgic art-based products. Most recently, I have also had the privilege to expand my work to include murals and merch for storefronts, Airbnbs and townships. Working with clients on these projects is such a joy and a privilege. Getting to capture someone's vision is my greatest passion.

It is my hope that one day soon, I will be able to open a shop with locally sourced and ethically made goods. This shop would also include coffee, of course and a space for art gallery exhibitions, open mic nights and book clubs to meet and thrive in my little space. In this dream, I would like to pair each item with a nonprofit to ensure at least 10% of those proceeds are going towards a good cause.
